Prospect Grove

Prospect Grove

Good afternoon

Please can I make you aware of the following issues on Prospect Grove in Morecambe. There has been numerous incidents where youths have caused damage and have been verbally abusive toward the residents. There has also been several thefts of mobility scooters which are owned by elderly/disabled residents. Youths are using this street as a cut through, usually from Lowlands Road to Lancaster Road. Please can I ask that if you have any children that do use this street to remind them to be considerate to the residents, or use another route, which to be honest is no quicker than using the next street up.

Police patrols have been increased, especially late evenings and weekends.

If you have any information that you would like to make me aware of, please reply to this message or via my email karl.smith@lancashire.police.uk

Many thanks

Karl
