Attempt Burglary

Attempt Burglary

Dear Resident

Please be aware that there has been a recent attempt burglary on the ward (The Crescent). The brief circumstances are that between the hours of 02:30 and 03:30 on the 6th of October, offenders have approached a property on The Crescent and attempted to remove the front door keys, which were still in the lock of a locked front door (via the letterbox). It is believed they may have been disturbed by the dog and the key snapped in situ.

Please be aware that this is one technique used by burglars, whereby they attempt to take car/house keys stored in the hall/ in close proximity to the door.

Please could I ask you to check the security of your letterbox, or take extra precautions/consideration of where you store your car/house keys.

If you live in the vicinity of The Crescent and noticed anything suspicious or have any relevant CCTV, please could you contact me via this messaging System.

Regards

Andy
