August crime statistics

Good morning,

Please see below the crime statistics in the Billinge & Beardwood area for the month of August.

Burglary; - 0.

Theft; - 2. Building machinery taken from a house under renovation.  

                Unlocked bicycle taken from outside victims house.

Unauthorised Taking of a Motor Vehicle (UTMV); - 0.

Vehicle Crime; - 10. One call came in reporting a male trying car door handles, One where the offender was seen trying to get into a car, he was chased by the victim but he lost offender.

All the rest were unlocked cars having items (some valuable) taken from them.

Criminal Damage (excluding vehicles); - 3. Group of youths at local park causing damage to a ride. Group of male & female youths causing anti-social behaviour where a cafe window has been damaged. Damage to one of the council buildings situated on a local park.
