Good morning, 

As you are all aware there has been an increase in hot weather lately. 

We just wanted to send out a reminder to keep safe and to remember the dangers that can stem from open water.

We ask that if you see any children in open water such as lakes or rivers, that you report it to us through the correct channels either 101 if there is no immediate danger or 999 if there is immediate dangers. 

If you have children we ask that you remind them of the dangers that can happen when swimming in unregulated water. 

You may see more patrols in the areas where there is open water. This isn't to alarm people, it is us as the neighbourhood team making sure your families are safe.
