Sutton Ave/Horning Crescent attempt burglary

Good evening,

On Thursday (21st) at around 10.30am, we received a report of an attempted burglary, around the junction of Sutton Avenue and Horning Crescent.

2 males were in the area posting business cards through doors in the area.

At one address, they have gone round the property to the back door, and we seen on CCTV seemingly interfering with the back door.

We are unsure whether there was any malicious intent, or some sort of misunderstanding. 

We would like to remind residents to be vigilant and ensure all doors and windows are locked when not being supervised. With the nice weather incoming, we see a lot of doors and windows wide open with no occupants in sight. This is ideal opportunity for someone up to no good.

Please do not be the unlucky one and get caught out by opportunists.
