King's Trust Employability Programme

LAST FEW SPACES REMAINING

Do you know a young person aged 16–25 who is not in employment, education, or training? There are still a few spaces available on this FREE 12-week employability programme from The King’s Trust, delivered locally by Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service.

Based at Blackpool South Shore Fire Station, the course has already started (5 May 2026), but new participants can still join and will be supported to catch up. No qualifications are required, and support with maths and English is included.

What’s included:
• 4-day residential with activities such as climbing, canoeing & raft building
• Community project improving a local space
• 2-week work placement tailored to interests
• Additional certificates (First Aid, Money Management, Disability Awareness)
• CV building, job applications & future planning support

This is a great opportunity to build confidence, skills, and experience in a supportive environment.
