Missing person update |
||
|
You may have seen a social media post today in respect of Samuel Smith, he is missing from his home in Colne and his family are really worried about him. Yesterday we asked for your help finding Samuel and we just wanted to give you an update into what we are doing to find him. Our officers have been carrying out house to house, CCTV and other digital enquiries, and we also have a number of officers searching around the lower reservoir at Foulridge. Various departments and agencies including Mountain Rescue have been assisting, so you may have noticed quite a lot of activity in the area. We are continuing to pursue a range of enquiries and are still very much appealing for any sightings or information. Samuel was last seen around 10.30am yesterday in the Skipton Road area, and we are very concerned for his welfare. He is 6ft, medium build, with short greying hair, has a short ginger/grey beard and wears glasses. When he was last seen, Samuel was wearing black trousers, a black coat and possibly a leather jacket. He might also have been wearing a black beanie hat and carrying an orange Sainsbury’s carrier bag. Samuel has links to Colne and Burnley. Immediate sightings, please call 999. Any information as to where he might be, please contact 101, quoting log 0652 of 2nd March. | ||
