Burglary update Lytham St Annes

We are aware there has been some concerns circulating online about recent incidents on South Park in Lytham St Annes where a suspicious male has been sighted on CCTV in the early hours of the morning.

In the early hours of 21st February 2026 we received a call from a resident on Calf Croft Place who had seen a suspicious looking male on her Ring doorbell footage.

The resident believed the male was scoping out their address. 

Officers made straight to the area and detained a male nearby matching the description.

The male was searched and found in possession of items suspected to be used to commit a burglary, including a face covering and torch. 

The male was arrested on suspicion of attempt burglary. 

Zach JACKSON, aged 30, of no fixed abode has today been charged with attempt burglary and going equipped for burglary. 

JACKSON has been remanded to Court.

We would like to thank our residents for remaining vigilant and reporting suspicious activity to us. 

We will continue to conduct high visibility patrol in the area, particularly over night and in the early hours of the morning.
