Christmas has come early for the Wyre Neighbourhood Team! Last Friday, Sgt Andy, PCSO Lizzy and PCSO Matt went to the Giant store in Blackpool to pick up four 'wheely' smart, brand new Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles (EAPCs). 🎅🚲
These bikes will allow the team to cover larger areas during shifts, increasing visibility and offering more engagement opportunities. As a result, we hope to see a decrease in criminal behaviour, such as anti-social behaviour and retail theft.
This is all thanks to generous support from local Councillors at Wyre Council and businesses, including Lofthouse of Fleetwood, HTI, NPL Estates, BT, Norbain Holdings Ltd, AMG Systems and AR Security Systems Ltd.
