Operation Printex

Lancashire Constabulary and Blackpool Council are continuing to work in partnership to tackle the issue of cannabis farms in the Blackpool area.

The aim of the operation is for the police and council to work with landlords to make Blackpool a less attractive place to set up cannabis farms and tackle the problem head on.

As the operation was launched earlier in the year we wanted to give you an update:

Since June we have:

• Visited 21 letting agencies/management companies

• Contacted the residents of 7,063 properties

• Issued 9 landlords with community protection notices
