Good evening, 

Our Op Centurion officers and colleagues from our mounted branch have conducted high visibility patrol in Blackburn Town Centre this afternoon.

This government funded initiative aims to reduce anti-social behaviour and improves our town for all.

Throughout todays tour we have:

🚪 Conducted regular checks of a local property subject to a 3-month closure order

🛍️ 🛒 Provided numerous stakeholder visits, providing crime prevention advice and gathering intelligence.

📍 Conducted target visits to repeat problematic locations

🚓 Conducted numerous stop & searches resulting in a quantity of stolen property recovered.

🚨 Successfully identified and located a male who is outstanding wanted for 6 shopliftings and a common assault.
