What a busy month for Deepdale with the #NeighbourhoodPolicingWeekofAction If you've kept up to date with our Facebook Page👉Preston Police | Facebook you might already be aware but below are some more Deepdale specific activities that myself, Amy and Ruman got up to throughout June! A Community Road Watch was completed on Holme Slack Lane when residents have reported the highest volume of speeding concerns. Several vehicles were caught speeding over 25mph, and a warning letter has been sent to the drivers. Click here, https://lancsroadsafety.co.uk/submit-concern/ , to report your speeding concern locations to us so we can help keep Deepdale safe.🚔🚦Our Task Force team have also been focusing on Deepdale and St George’s Ward over June and they have made a big impact on prolific offenders and organised crime in the area. Several arrests have been made and more warrants executed on addresses of concern. Much of this intelligence is gathered from residents expressing their concerns either online or speaking to a PCSO out on the beat. A big thank you to any and all that have given us any information that may have assisted these operations.✅🎯☕A Coffee with a Cop was also held at Starbucks on Blackpool Road so residents could ask questions and chat to local officers. Similarly, we also held a pop-up in Sainsburys earlier in the month and spoke to shoppers about their concerns in the area and advertised our In The Know messaging platform so more residents can receive updates like these!📩Multiple school visits were made to catch-up with staff and pupils before the end of the summer term and prepare any talks/presentations for September.🏫✏🔪🚫Knife Sweeps were also conducted on Moor Park as part of the week of action.
