Closure Order

Good Afternoon

                   Officers from the Haslingden Neighbour Policing Team attended Burnley Magistrates Court on Wednesday 2nd July 2025 to apply for a full Closure Order against the Polish Shop, 39 Deardengate, Haslingden.

                   We where successful in our application and the Court granted us a Full Closure Order against the premises. We executed the Closure Order the same day and the above named premises will now be closed to anyone for a period of 3 Months

                  The shop has failed numerous inspections by Trading Standards over the last few years and large quantities of illicit/illegal tobacco and vapes/e-cigarettes have been seized as part of these inspections. We have been supported in our efforts to close this shop by our partner agency, trading standards and also by the local high school, Haslingden High and the local county councillor Samara Barns.
