Bogus Callers and Door to Door Scams - Action Fraud

We have had calls recently reporting bogus callers.

If someone knocks at your door, always check and examine their identification.

Never let anyone into your house unless they are someone you know and trust.

Never agree to any work on your house from someone who cold calls at the door without getting similar quotes from similar companies. Take their details and tell them you will ring back if interested.

Never go with someone you don't know to withdraw cash.

Please pass this information to elderly friends and relatives.
