Did you know that within Lancashire there are knife surrender bins? These are safe and secure places to place unwanted knives or sharp items. The bin's are easy to spot within the community, utilising the knife bins help keep unwanted knives of the streets. The bins are emptied regularly and are destroyed unless there are obvious signs that they have been used in a crime. 

These bins can be located in the below areas of Preston. 

-Gamull Lane, Ribbleton. Behind Fusion Flowers. 

-Princess Street, Avenham. In the car park. 

-Preston Police Station, Lancaster Road North. 

The bins have recently been emptied and the below knifes where surrendered.
