Counterfeit vapes and tobacco 

After concerns from parents and schools about young people using vapes, many of these being counterfeit containing unknow substances and high volume of nicotine. Lancashire police worked in partnership with trading standards and targeted local shops selling counterfeit vapes and tobacco, goods to the street value of £16 thousand pounds was seized. As a result, the goods were seized, and the perpetrators have been prosecuted. 

Lancashire police will continue to work in partnership with multi-agencies to stamp out this illegal activity.
