Hello Residents, 

The team have reviewed the In the Know and we have seen that across Skelmersdale the number 1 concern across all areas has been the constant issue of masked riders using Off-Road bikes in an Anti-Social manner.

Over this weekend your local Neighbourhood policing team alongside the Beacon Rangers have been conducting Anti-Social Behaviour patrols targeting the use of Off-Road bikes.

This weekend has allowed local units to gather intel and footage of the use of these bikes and understand which areas more prominently being blighted by these users. 

Going forward as the operation progresses, the team will be looking at issuing behaviour orders on those identified riders and seizing vehicles when possible. 

Working with our partner agencies has provided us with further local knowledge to be able to target and access the locations falling further victim of this form of Anti-Social Behaviour.
