Good afternoon 

The pictured e-scooter was seized in Morecambe Town Centre recently. On seeing the officer at very short notice, the rider decided they would make a run for it, leaving the e-scooter behind. 

We very much doubt that the rider will ask for it back, as he will require a driving licence, tax, MOT and insurance to use the e-scooter on public roads. Prior to this we received reports from members of the public that the person was riding the e-scooter in a dangerous manner.
