Good evening,
Trading standards have received information this week regarding cold callers operating in the Grange Park area.
One of the reports was a male wearing a lanyard but not displaying any photo ID, claiming he was working in partnership with the council. The male was asking for residents bank details.
Please remain vigilant and if you encounter individual cold callers, check their identification, name and organisation. DO NOT give out your bank details.
Your local neighbourhood policing team and trading standards will be in the area on Wednesday should residents wish to speak with us.
