We Have been made aware of Flytipping that have occurred on Old Moss Lane since the closure of the bridge over the Cheshire lines path.

The amount of rubbish that has been deposited would require a large vehicle to move these items such as a Van or Flatbed truck.

This is a Remote location with no through access at the moment with no requirement for commercial type vehicles to be using this road.

Although the Council are the lead agency on Flytipping it is still a criminal offence that we will assist in in investigating.

We request that everybody be vigilant and report any suspicious activity. 

If there are people sighted actively depositing waste  this would be considered a crime in progress and we recommend 999 should be called in these circumstances. Any none urgent reports can be made via 101 or our online reporting portal.
