Officers from Wyre Neighbourhood Team have been working in collaboration with trading standards and conducted an enforcement visit to a local shop in the Thornton-Cleveleys area. Our main aim was to ensure compliance on regulations designed to protect consumers, particularly the safety of products. A large quantity of illegal tobacco products and vapes were seized from a hidden concealment with an estimated value of just under £11,000. These products are dangerous and contain harmful ingredients that negatively impact the health of consumers.

We will continue to work with Trading Standards and take action against the sale of illegal tobacco and vape products in Wyre.
