The local community of Shakespeare Terrace, Chorley have raised concerns regarding the use of motorcycles and e bikes in the area. As a result of public reporting this when it is happening the local policing team have attended the area and seized a motorbike being ridden dangerously.  Officers from the Local Policing Team will continue to patrol the area to address these concerns.

There as been an issue regarding unregistered motorbikes being ridden daily around this area. The local team conducted a street surgery listening to the concerns of the residents. We increased patrols in the area in marked and unmarked vehicles. On 24/03/23 after residents reported one in the area, we attended and a large orange off road bike has seized. Residents came out and said that this bike had been a big problem and were pleased to see it being taken away.
