Suspicious activity - The Howgills

Good evening,

We have had reports of a suspicious male scoping out houses on The Howgills several nights in a row.

Luckily nothing has been taken, but just for your awareness.

Top Tips

1. Make sure all doors and windows locked and secure, on homes, vehicles, sheds and garages.

2. No valuables left in sight in vehicles and home windows, specifically at night time. 

3. Make sure car keys are not left near front doors, especially if vehicle is keyless.

4. Invest in CCTV cameras if possible.

5. Be vigilant.

6. Report any suspicious activity via 101.
