Good afternoon,

I am just sending out a message to advise residents that this afternoon myself and colleagues have been out and about on Lowerhouse lane carrying out a speed check point to monitor the speed of vehicles driving along the road.

In the 30 Minutes we were at the location we have had 31 Vehicles that have been doing over the 20mph speed limit that is in place. 

Their registration numbers have taken and contact is going to be made with the owners of those vehicles.

Please can I advise residents that more speed checks are going to be carried out not only at this location but others as well.
