Good Evening,
Applications are now open for those interested in becoming Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) at Lancs.
But hurry, as the application window closes on Monday 3 February 2025!
The posts are full time and permanent, although part time and flexible working arrangements will be considered following completion of training.
The Constabulary is committed to local community neighbourhood policing, and PCSOs are at the heart of this commitment. PCSOs are part of their local Neighbourhood Policing Team, working with partners and the community to reduce crime.
The role is a uniformed one and comes with designated powers, but most importantly PCSOs are expected to engage with their communities to problem solve and target the biggest local problems.
As part of the recruitment process, you will be required to undertake the College of Policing National Sift assessment. Further details will be provided after the closing date.
If you are interested in becoming a PCSO or know anyone who would, you can find out more information and submit your application online via the Lancashire Constabulary home page and follow the links for recruitment.
Thanks Phill. Blackpool Police. | ||||
