Good afternoon

We have been receiving numerous calls now from local residents of motorists parking their vehicles in an inconsiderate and inappropriate manner by the roadworks on Hoyles Lane. I appreciate the difficulties many of you are facing with regards to parking and access to your properties, and can sympathise with your frustrations over how long the roadworks have been in place. However from images sent through to the local policing team it is clear to see that there are instances where access for emergency service vehicles would be compromised because of double parking, and motorists parking where cones have specifically been laid out to restrict parking. 

Please can we all try and be considerate of our parking. Vehicles seen to be parking in such a manner will be issued with a polite notice in the first instance, however if found to be continually causing an obstruction then further enforcement will be implemented.
