Monthly Update for Queensgate


Morning and Happy New Year to all,

 

These were the stats for Nov 2024

 

ASB 6

Barden estate two males driving in an anti social manner, vehicle found with extensive damage, no owner and no insurance confiscated by ourselves.

Homeless males causing issues rear of Briercliffe shopping centre needles found with blood around the area council aware for clean up and NPT teams regularly checking area.

Vehicles driving in a anti social manner around the Kyan street area, patrols in area to identify persons involved, speed camera operations also carried out.

Barden lane eggs thrown at window causing break no suspects

Fireworks set off on Disraeli street causing issues.

Fireworks on Barden Estate fired at moving vehicles.

 

Vehicle crime 1

Homeless male found inside a Vehicle with it’s window smashed at the rear of Briercliffe shopping centre, Male was sleep out of the cold, arrested for criminal damage, welfare needs addressed.

 

Break in a Dwelling  1

A female waked into a property on Latham street and stole a quantity of medicines belonging to the resident, the female has been named and is being sought. 

 

Break other than in a Dwelling  1

An empty property on Briercliffe road was broken into and copper pipes were taken landlord aware.

 

Damage 2

A residential window was broken on Barden lane with a possible suspect investigations ongoing.

A property on Kyan street had the cables to the CCTV system cut possible Suspect for this, investigation ongoing.

 

Dec stats are as follows

3 Calls to rough sleepers, Owners of land notified to evict them, Ongoing.

1 call to beggars 

1 call to youths causing issues at Casterton Avenue garage left prior to police arrival.

1 call to youths running on driving range at Prairie sports village.

 

Vehicle crime 0

 

Break in dwelling   0

 

Break other than in a Dwelling  1

House under renovation broken into and internal fixtures stolen. Unknown persons.

 

Damage 1

Ex renter at a property have caused damage to internal fixtures after being evicted. Known offenders.
