As part of national Op Sceptre week Neighbourhood officers have been visiting retail premises that sell knives. Working closely with retailers is a vital part of our work to tackle knife crime. Initiatives such as Think 25 are being rolled out to all retailers who sell knives. Increased training and awareness of the rules around the selling of knives helps to ensure weapons do not end up in the wrong hands
