We have carried out a local speed operation today on Lakeland Way at the request of residents who feel the speed on the street is excessive.

We were there for Half an hour and checked 50 vehicles 13 of them were above the speed limit which is 20 MPH the 13 vehicles in question were all above 25MPH and will be dealt with appropriately.
