There has been x2 addresses on Rossendale road which are next door to each other over night last night 17/10/2024 between 18:30hrs and 08:15hrs where there has been have had someone in their sheds. Some items have been stolen from the sheds including a lawn mower. The second address has had someone in their shed and have attempted to steal a jet washer and damage has been caused to the lock of the garden shed as well as smashing the security light sensor. 

Please can I advise residents that we have had a number of similar crimes reported over the last week or so and can I just ask that sheds and garages are left locked and secure as well as garden gates. Also not to leave any items of value on view or in the garden if they are not being used.
