Throughout the week the Darwen Neighbourhood Team have been focusing on some of the issues that are important to you and how we can tackle them.

We organised a stall in Darwen Town Centre dedicated to vehicle crime where we offered safeguarding advice and gave away a number of items to keep yourself, your vehicles and your property safe.

So far we have carried out speed operations and traffic enforcement on Manor Road and Cranberry Lane, with more to follow.

In the early hours of this morning, we carried out a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant in the Whitehall area alongside our Urban Task Force, where evidence of drug cultivation was found.

Extra patrols are focusing on the Town Centre and surrounding areas with regards to youths and fireworks. The same will be taking place with regards to the anti-social riding of e-bikes.
