Good Morning,

We have been made aware of some suspicious activity during the early hours of the Morning on 10th September on School Road in Heysham. 

Doorbell footage shows a male shining a torch into a vehicle.

On this occasion nothing was reported to have been taken and no damage caused. , Unfortunately, we would not be able to make a positive ID at this time due to it being hours of darkness as it was 04:30am in the morning.

There has been a similar type of incident around a month ago on the same street.

We are therefore reminding everyone to be vigilant, and make sure you leave your car locked and secured and not to leave any belongings in sight .

Please do report this kind of suspicious activity to the Police ,and we would encourage you to call 999 if you are  aware of this at the time it is happening so we can deploy Officers straight away.
