Motorbike Robberies


Dear Resident

 

Yesterday, two attempt robberies were committed on Whalley Road Clayton Le Moors. The first one occurred at 5:22pm, at the junction of Whalley Road, and Warwick Avenue. The circumstances being, three males were wearing black clothing, balaclavas, and riding a single motorbike. These males have made attempts to steal the victims motorbike by taking their keys. They were thankfully unsuccessful and made off on their motor bike.

 

The second offence occurred only a short time later at  5:36pm. This happened again on Whalley Road and involved three males wearing black balaclavas, and riding a small black motorbike. The circumstances being, these males have ridden along side the victim, and told them, to get off their e-bicycle. Thankfully a motorist has intervened and they have made off.

 

The purposes of this message is to let everyone know that this type of crime is being committed in the area.
