GOOD NEWS…. A female who continuously commits offences of shoplifting in the Nelson area has been incarcerated for a number of months. Amy BARNES,  a local female,  was charged with a number of offences of theft from shops and attended Lancashire Magistrates on Friday the 6th of September 2024 where she was sentenced to prison.  This will come as good news to the business community and should serves as a warning to others that we the Police and Courts will not tolerate shoplifting in Pendle and wider Lancashire area.
