Lancashire Road Safety Partnership has highlighted Lawsons Road, Thornton as a speeding hotspot. The Speed limit is set at 20 mph.

Fleetwood Neighbourhood Police have been out conducting Speed watch in this location. During this session, 66 cars were checked, 10 vehicles were speeding and the highest recorded speed was 31 in a 20 Mph zone.
