Wednesday afternoon we again carried out a road watch operation on Ruskin street in the Queensgate area of Burnley,

This is in relation to reports from the public in that area that Vehicles were speeding and using the road as a rat run from Windermere road to Colne road,

We were there for 30 minutes from 4pm to half past and checked a total of 30 Vehicles, A total of 5 Vehicles were found to be over the 20 MPH speed limit for the area.

These Vehicles were Checked on the police National Computer and those addresses will receive notice  of there speed with a warning letter.
