Good Afternoon Ashurst, 

I am Sergeant David Butcher from Skelmersdale Neighbourhood Policing Team, I just wanted to let you know that throughout the weekend, including this afternoon our Neighbourhood Team have been conducting a number of patrols in Ashurst due to the concerns you have raised in relation to the anti-social behaviour caused by off-road motorcycles, scramblers and quad bikes in your locality.

During these patrols we are using a combination of officers in uniform and plain clothes, in vehicles and also on mountain bikes, so that we can patrol those hard to reach footpaths, subways and cut-throughs…  

I appreciate you may feel that nothing is being done in relation to these matters, but I can assure you that a lot of work is being done in the back ground, with the support of our partners: WLBC and Beacon Rangers.

Please continue to report such incidents of ASB as this will provide us with the most up to date information on the issues and specific locations to patrol.
