Lancashire police have recently attended several incidents of house burglaries in the Ormskirk and Aughton areas.

Can we please ask all residents to be vigilant and take extra care when locking up your property.   Make sure windows are closed when you leave the house, and all doors are locked securely.  This applies to vehicles too.

Let's not make it easy for criminals to gain access to our property and belongings.

Can we please ask you to keep a look out for anything suspicious if you have elderly or vulnerable neighbours.
