Last week I had the great pleasure of meeting Sarah Booth, Eugene and Natalie and the team at The Coffee Mill on Sandygate. Sarah is Head of sixth form at Ridgewood Community High School on Eastern Avenue, a local special school for young people with additional needs. The team support the pupils on work placement at the café so they can get real life experience in a working environment. The pupils were very professional, the coffee was genuinely great, the shop has a lovely atmosphere. That’s my sales pitch done. It’s open Mon-Fri 8-4pm.

I'll try and meet some more of the people in our area and introduce them.
