Good Afternoon,

Yesterday (22/11/2024) Darwen Neighbourhood Policing Team attended reports of 4 males attempting to break into a property on BANK STREET, DARWEN. On arrival, rather than a burglary in progress, we located a Cannabis Cultivation within an address. There were around 150 plants inside the property, and the electricity meter had been bypassed.

This cultivation has now been dismantled, and we are asking anyone with anyone information makes contact with the police on 101 or by emailing DarwenAndRural.NPT@lancashire.police.uk and quoting LC-20241121-0684.
