With the present buying season and online purchasing on the rise we have been notified of what we feel is quite a worrying situation.

 Some people delivering items have taken it upon themselves to just open doors and drop the parcel off even walking in further that needed.

As you can imagine this is very worrying and can be quite frightening for anyone who is sat at home.

Please ensure door chains are used if you have one or even some sort of door chime is fitted so when the door is open some sort of alarm goes off. 

If any of the delivery firms have just walked into your property without any notification YOU  SHOULD CONTACT the delivery provider and also let the company you bought the item from with your concerns about safety
