We have recently been made aware of a complaint that has been made to the Lancashire Road Safety Partnership regarding the speed of vehicles that have been driving down Church Road, Thornton.   

Myself and my colleague attended Church Road today to conduct Community Road Watch to monitor the speeds in which vehicles were driving down the road. 

Whilst most drivers were within the limit, we had recorded 5 drivers who were over the limit. These drivers will be contacted in due course and notified regarding the speeding.
